Lancashire Unison has now lodged papers with an Employment Tribunal on behalf of members who it believes have been detrimented on grounds of their Trade Union Membershipr
Unison has written to those members who our records show have been seconded to One Connect, to advise them of their rights in respect of the ban imposed by the company on members standing for the companie’s Staff Forum. Unison has received legal advice that the stance of One Connect is likely to be unlawful as it amounts to a detriment on grounds of Trade Union membership under Section 146 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act.
